Rotary Week of Service April 17-24
Most receiving this newsletter are on our distribution list because, at some time, you benefitted from a vocational education grant from The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (TRVFA).  A few receive it because they are TRVFA board members and advisors, or bulletin subscribers.  One thing that Rotarians have generally failed to do is communicate about the many wonderful things they do in their own community and in the world.  That is about to change.

There is about to be the biggest concerted effort by Arizona Rotarians to let our fellow-citizens know about many of the good things that we do, and invite them to join us.  If you CLICK HERE or on the image at the top of this article, you will arrive at a special website about Rotary Week of Service.

On that site, you will see opportunities to give and in many cases, opportunities to volunteer and serve alongside Rotarians in a variety of projects and service activities.  To see The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona (TRVFA) opportunity within the week of service website, CLICK HERE.

We thought our TRVFA Alumni should be among those who are first made aware of this new effort to let our communities know that, for Rotarians, being People of Action is a way of life.  We hope many of you will join us in service April 17-24.
Your Stories Help Us Tell Our Story
The majority of the vocational education grants we have funded have been used for medical-related training.   Odds are, many of you have been involved directly in the frontlines fighting the COVID pandemic.  It certainly has been a year that none of us could have predicted.  Please send us photos of yourself and let us know how being a front-line worker has impacted you and your family.  We know it cannot be easy and we thank you for what you are and have been doing to be there for us all.
