LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

I have had the privilege in recent months to see each of the new applications for our vocational education grants.  In their brief descriptions of why they need our help, I see a tiny glimpse into each of their life stories.  Overall, I see individuals who are not afraid of doing the work it will take to move themselves into a better future.  Most are not just doing it for themselves - they are doing it for their children or to help their parents.
I cannot imagine a more rewarding way to spend my time than to help individuals who want to help themselves so they can be of more benefit to those they love and care for.
I know I am very thankful for all who give to support what we do.  I don't want to turn any worthy applicant away because we have run short of funds.

FEBRUARY 14TH IS VALENTINE'S DAY.
PLEASE GIVE WITH YOUR HEART!

Over 25 years ago, The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona was  established as a 501(C)(3)  to assist vocational students in the State of Arizona. Rotary has always supported education through scholarships, donations, and service projects around the world. TRVFA was able to expand on this concept by including Vocational.
Fortunately, for those living in Arizona, donations can be made using  your AZ tax credit, an opportunity that other states just don't have!
TRVFA supports those students that are entering into a vocational field, providing our communities with a real economic boost.  As you know, vocational careers are in huge demand today across the United States. It's for this reason that we need to expand our reach and request that you make a monetary donation to TRVFA. Our organization is able to accept on-line donations, and even checks, no donation will ever be turned down. TRVFA would be highly honored for any financial support you offer our vocational students. An alternative method is to donate on a reoccurring basis by selecting monthly, quarterly or annually.
Currently, TRVFA is flooded with applicants needing additional funding, not only to make their dreams and ambitions come true, but to assist in vocational fields that our communities have in short supply. We have actual proof of the tremendous success graduates achieve from communicating with them once they are employed. Employment opportunities are typically readily available.
Our initial goal was to reach at least $350,000, an amount that was disbursed last year. However, with more applicants than ever before, the board is aspiring to see an increase in this amount. We are only able to do this with your generous donation. Turning down applicants, is one of the most difficult things that TRVFA is forced to do.
Will you consider donating to TRVFA? Here is the link to our website which includes a DONATE button.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Board Members of TRVFA
